Magnetawan Trails in the Almaguin Highlands

Magnetawan is located in the Almaguin Highlands near Algonquin Provincial Park and north of Huntsville, Muskoka.  Magentawan has four great trails that you can enjoy throughout the year.
Ahmic Lake Golf Club Trail 5KM - Golf Course Road along the Magnetawan River. This trail leads into the Broadmeadow Wildlife area. 
The Dam Trail 1.5KM - Visit the Dam and Locks in the Town of Magnetawan.  This trail is adjacent to the Museum in the Old Power House.  Enjoy the waterfalls, granite outcroppings, the old lighthouse and scenic Lake Cecebe.
Ahmic Lake Trail 1.5KM - Another great trail, follow the trail signs until you meet up with the Old Nipissing "Ghost Road" at Spence. Enjoy the scenery of Ahmic Lake.
Woodland Trails 2KM - Excellent trail for cross country skiing and hiking.  When you are done on this trail visit Woodland Echoes Resort for a quiet dining dinner.  Call 705-387-3866 for reservations.

Northern Ontario Art Association NOAA

Come out and join the 54th Annual Juried Art Exhibition on Saturday September 18th from 2 - 5pm in the Magnetawan Community Centre at 4304 Highway 520.  This exhibition is presented by the Burk's Falls Art and Crafts Club.  Anyone is welcome to attend.

Cecebe Waterways Annual Regatta Magnetawan

Two full days of fun at Cecebe Waterways at Magnetawan Centennial Park is a great way to spend your weekend.  Enjoy a great day with canoe races, sailboat races, triathlon, long distance swim, horseshoes, egg toss, castle building and cardboard boat races.
